This web site was unveiled on December 22nd 2005 in conjunction with the year of the Veteran to recognize the supreme sacrifice paid by so many in the service of Canada. The aim of this site is to invite those who cannot visit this Chamber in person to do so via this tool, in hopes that they will appreciate its carvings, the Books of Remembrance containing the names of Canada's war dead and to view the Turning of the Page ceremony. You are invited to conduct historical military research or to simply reflect on the beauty and symbolism of this great room.
