JoAnne L. Buth

JoAnne L. Buth is an agriculture professional who is committed to a sustainable and profitable Canadian agricultural and food sector. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Winnipeg and a Master of Science in Entomology from the University of Manitoba.
Ms. Buth was the President of the Canola Council of Canada from 2007 to 2012. Before that, Ms. Buth served as Vice President of the Council. She has also held several positions as a manager and was a weed management specialist at the Soils and Crops Branch of Manitoba Agriculture. She was a research and development manager at DowElanco Canada Inc. and an information officer for the Agriculture Canada Research Station in Winnipeg.
In 1998, Ms. Buth was a recipient of the Manitoba Agriculture “Motivator of the Year” award.
Ms. Buth resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
