PARLIAMENT of CANADA

Reports

There are two broad categories of Senate Committees’ reports, all with specific purposes:

Administrative: reporting past expenses, requesting powers (to travel, to televise, for example) or to request budgetary approval;

Substantive:

  • Legislative: reporting on bills referred to a Committee;
  • Special Study: reporting on special studies referred to a Committee.

Below is a list of the special study reports of Senate Committees (Standing, Special and Joint) during the current session of Parliament.
