Programs

The new partnership will build upon the highly successful initiatives of past environmental programs of the Green Committee Program of the Senate and the Greening the Hill Program of the House of Commons. The partnership will provide a unified approach for the standardization and modernization of current environmental programs and practices and also for the introduction of new programs to promote environmental protection on the Hill.

Some key programs such as the Multi-material and PaperSave Recycling Programs are coordinated jointly by the partner institutions, while other programs such as Green Procurement and Hazardous Waste are managed by the individual institution.
