The Standing Committee on Justice
and Human Rights met at 9:35 a.m. this day, in Room 705, La Promenade Building,
the Chair, Andy Scott, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Michel

In attendance: From the Library of

Witnesses: As Individuals: Dr.
Derek Eaves, Vice-President, Medicine and Research, Riverview Hospital,
Visiting Scholar, Simon Fraser University; Prof. Ronald Roesch,
Director, Mental Health, Law and Policy Institute, Simon Fraser University.
Pursuant to the Order of Reference of the House
of February 26, 2002, the Committee resumed it statutory review of the mental
disorder provisions of the Criminal Code.
The witnesses made a statement and answered
questions.
At 10:50 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the
call of the Chair.
