The Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates met in a televised session at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Vice-Chair, Mike Wallace, presiding.

Bill Matthews and Sally Thornton made statements and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

At 5:13 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:14 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Eve Adams moved, — That the Committee proceed to sit in camera.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following recorded division: YEAS: Eve Adams, Scott Armstrong, Kelly Block, Peter Braid, Ron Cannan, Jacques Gourde — 6; NAYS: Denis Blanchette, Jean-François Larose, John McCallum, Mathieu Ravignat — 4.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding any decisions made previously, the Committee set aside its meeting of Wednesday, May 30, 2012, for a brainstorming session on the instructions to give analysts for drafting the report on the review of the process for considering the estimates and supply.

At 5:24 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
