The Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met in camera at 11:02 a.m. this day, in Room C-160, 1 Wellington Street, the Chair, Candice Hoeppner, presiding.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

On motion of Michael John Savage, it was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

On motion of Raymonde Folco, it was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "The Impact of Replacing the Mandatory Long-Form Census with a Voluntary Survey: The Challenge of Maintaining Data Quality to Monitor Socio-Economic Trends".

On motion of Yves Lessard, it was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analyst be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

On motion of Ed Komarnicki, it was agreed, — That the Committee append to its report a dissenting opinion from the Conservative Party provided that it is no more than five pages in length and submitted electronically to the Clerk of the Committee, in both official languages, no later than 5:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 31, 2011.

On motion of Michael John Savage, ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.
