The Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs met at 11:01 a.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Chair, Joe Preston, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Harold Albrecht, Claude DeBellefeuille, Judy Foote, Mario Laframboise, Tom Lukiwski, Joe Preston, Marcel Proulx, Yasmin Ratansi, Scott Reid and Terence Young.

Acting Members present: David Christopherson for Yvon Godin, Pierre A. Paquette for Mario Laframboise and Kevin Sorenson for Steven Blaney.

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Nicolas Auclair, Analyst ; Andre Barnes, Analyst.

Witnesses: As an individual: Lynne Hamilton, Vice-President, Public Affairs, GCI Group.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of November 29, 2010, the Committee resumed consideration of the question of privilege relating to the premature disclosure on November 18, 2010, of the confidential draft report on the prebudget consultations of the Standing Committee on Finance by an employee of the member for Saskatoon—Rosetown—Biggar.

Lynne Hamilton was duly sworn in.

Lynne Hamilton made a statement and answered questions.

At 12:01 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:03 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

At 12:15 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
