The Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights met at 10:58 a.m. this day, in Room 536, Wellington Building, the Chair, Ed Fast, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Joe Comartin, Hon. Ujjal Dosanjh, Ed Fast, Marc Lemay, Réal Ménard, Rob Moore, Brian Murphy, Rick Norlock, Daniel Petit and Brent Rathgeber.

 

Acting Members present: Luc Malo for Réal Ménard.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, the Committee resumed its study on declaring certain groups criminal organizations.
 

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

 

At 11:49 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:02 p.m., the sitting resumed.

 

At 12:58 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
