That pursuant to subsection 83.32(1) of the Criminal Code, the application of sections 83.28, 83.29 and 83.3 of that Act be extended for a period of three years from the first day on which this resolution is passed by both Houses of Parliament.

May 25, 2006 — Ms. Minna (Beaches—East York) — That, in the opinion of the House, the government should move forward on an urgent basis to reform federal pay equity legislation based on the recommendations of the Pay Equity Task Force, and to put in place a pro-active approach to pay equity involving an obligation on employers to take steps to eliminate wage discrimination, specifically by: (a) appointing an impartial facilitator to lead discussions with major stakeholder representatives; and (b) having fully and adequately considered the substance of these discussions, introducing a bill on pay equity before the end of 2006. 25 mai 2006 — Mme Minna (Beaches—East York) — Que, de l’avis de la Chambre, le gouvernement devrait entreprendre d’urgence de réformer la législation sur l’équité salariale à partir des recommandations du Groupe de travail sur l’équité salariale, et adopter une approche proactive de l’équité salariale en obligeant notamment les employeurs à prendre des mesures pour éliminer la discrimination salariale et, plus particulièrement : a) en nommant un facilitateur impartial qui dirigerait les discussions avec les représentants des principaux intervenants; b) après avoir examiné soigneusement la teneur de ces discussions, en présentant un projet de loi sur l’équité salariale avant la fin de 2006.
May 30, 2006 — Mr. Bellavance (Richmond—Arthabaska) — That, in the opinion of the House, the government should (a) intervene immediately in order to maintain the control measures, which are a main pillar of supply management, by limiting imports of milk protein concentrates; (b) adopt a regulation (or order in council) that would classify all milk protein concentrates, regardless of their protein content, in tariff line 0404, for which a tariff quota has been negotiated; or immediately invoke article XXVIII of the GATT in order to limit imports of milk protein concentrates while immediately beginning negotiations with its trading partners and modifying its tariff schedule. 30 mai 2006 — M. Bellavance (Richmond—Arthabaska) — Que, de l’avis de la Chambre, le gouvernement devrait a) intervenir immédiatement afin de maintenir les mesures de contrôle, qui sont un pilier important de la gestion de l’offre, en limitant les importations de concentrés protéiques de lait; b) adopter un règlement (ou décret) qui classerait tous les concentrés protéiques de lait, quelque soit leur teneur en protéine, dans la ligne tarifaire 0404, où un contingent tarifaire a été négocié; ou recourir immédiatement à l’article XXVIII du GATT afin de plafonner les importations de concentrés protéiques de lait en engageant immédiatement des négociations avec ses partenaires commerciaux et en modifiant sa liste tarifaire.
May 30, 2006 — Mr. Guimond (Montmorency—Charlevoix—Haute-Côte-Nord) — That, in the opinion of the House, the Department of Human Resources and Social Development should renew, in its entirety, in all regions currently involved, pilot project No. 6, which allows workers in regions with high unemployment to obtain five additional weeks of employment insurance benefits until such time as the government undertakes a comprehensive reform of the employment insurance system that meets workers’ needs. 30 mai 2006 — M. Guimond (Montmorency—Charlevoix—Haute-Côte-Nord) — Que, de l’avis de la Chambre, le ministère des Ressources humaines et du Développement social devrait reconduire intégralement, dans toutes les régions qui sont actuellement couvertes, le projet pilote no 6 qui permet aux travailleurs d’obtenir cinq semaines supplémentaires de prestations d’assurance-emploi dans les régions où le taux de chômage est élevé jusqu’à ce qu’une réforme globale de l’assurance-emploi qui réponde aux besoins des travailleurs ait été mise en place par le gouvernement.

October 17, 2006 — Mr. Dosanjh (Vancouver South) — That, in the opinion of the House, the government should cause the flag on the Peace Tower to be half-masted in order to recognize each member of the Canadian Forces who loses his or her life in the line of duty. 17 octobre 2006 — M. Dosanjh (Vancouver-Sud) — Que, de l’avis de la Chambre, le gouvernement devrait mettre le drapeau de la Tour de la Paix en berne afin de rendre hommage à tous les soldats des Forces canadiennes, hommes et femmes, qui ont perdu la vie dans l’exercice de leurs fonctions.
February 20, 2007 — Ms. Dhalla (Brampton—Springdale) — That, in the opinion of the House, the government is placing narrow ideology ahead of the well-being of Canadian families by failing to support a sustainable, high quality early learning and child care system across Canada, thereby depriving parents of any meaningful child care choice and reducing transfers to provinces and territories by a billion dollars annually. 20 février 2007 — Mme Dhalla (Brampton—Springdale) — Que, de l’avis de la Chambre, le gouvernement fait passer son idéologie étriquée avant le bien-être des familles canadiennes, puisqu’il refuse d’investir dans un système viable et de qualité d’éducation préscolaire et de garderies dans l’ensemble du Canada, ce qui empêche les parents de bénéficier de choix véritables en matière de garde d’enfants et ce qui prive les provinces et les territoires d’un milliard de dollars en transferts chaque année.
February 20, 2007 — Mr. Wilfert (Richmond Hill) — That, in the opinion of the House, the government is failing to provide Canadians with adequate information about the current mission in Afghanistan, and therefore the House instruct the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development to convene on-going hearings, at least one day per month, at which all relevant Ministers and officials will be required to present themselves to answer detailed questions about the status of that mission. 20 février 2007 — M. Wilfert (Richmond Hill) — Que, de l’avis de la Chambre, le gouvernement n’informe pas les Canadiens comme il se doit au sujet de l’actuelle mission en Afghanistan et que, par conséquent, la Chambre demande au Comité permanent des affaires étrangères et du développement international de tenir des audiences régulières, au moins un jour par mois, auxquelles tous les ministres et les fonctionnaires pertinents seront tenus d’assister pour répondre à des questions détaillées sur la situation de la mission.

No. 15 — February 23, 2007 — Resuming consideration of the motion of Mr. Van Loan (Leader of the Government in the House of Commons and Minister for Democratic Reform), seconded by Mr. O'Connor (Minister of National Defence), — That, notwithstanding any Standing Order or usual practices of the House, a bill in the name of the Minister of Labour, entitled An Act to provide for the resumption and continuation of railway operations, shall be disposed of as follows: (a) commencing when the said bill is read a first time and concluding when the said bill is read a third time, the House shall not adjourn except pursuant to a motion proposed by a Minister of the Crown, and no Private Members' Business shall be taken up; (b) the said bill may be read twice or thrice in one sitting; (c) after being read a second time, the said bill shall be referred to a Committee of the Whole; and (d) during consideration of the said bill, no division shall be deferred.
