The Standing Committee on Finance met in camera at 9:34 a.m. this day, in Room 209 West Block, the Chair, Massimo Pacetti, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Rona Ambrose, Don H. Bell, Guy Côté, Charles Hubbard, Yvan Loubier, John McKay, Maria Minna, Massimo Pacetti, Charlie Penson, Monte Solberg and Judy Wasylycia-Leis.

Acting Members present: David Tilson for Brian Pallister.

In attendance: Library of Parliament: June Dewetering, Principal ; Alexandre Laurin, Analyst.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) , the Committee commenced its study on Duty Remission and The Zero-Rating of Tariffs on Textile Inputs: The Canadian Apparel Industry (Fourth Report, 37th Parliament, 3rd session).

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) , the Committee commenced its study on Small Business Tax Measures; Review of Excise Duties and Taxes: 1. Winemakers 2. Small Brewers 3. Jewellers 4.Agricultural Cooperatives ( 37th Parliament, 3rd session)

At 10:34 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
