The Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International
Trade met at 9:06 a.m. this day, in the Sackville Room of the Delta Barrington Hotel
in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the Chair, Jean Augustine, presiding.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study on North
American Integration and Canada's Role in the Light of New Security Challenges
and the study of the Agenda of the 2002 G8 Summit (See Minutes of
Proceedings of Tuesday, October 16, 2001, Meeting No. 31).

made statements and answered questions.
