The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 9:00 a.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Chair, Pat O'Brien, presiding.

From the Shipbuilding Association of Canada: Peter Cairns, President. From the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association of Canada: John Leech, General Manager.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108 (2), the Committee resumed a study on Contracting and Procurement.

The witnesses made opening statements and answered questions.
