Born in Edmonton, Mahalia spent the first half of her childhood in Leduc, Alberta, but now lovingly calls North Vancouver, British Columbia, home. Mahalia is currently studying in her third year at the University of Ottawa, working towards an Honours Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Psychology and Theatre, in both official languages.
