Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Hannah spent her childhood in Edmonton, Alberta, before moving to Wolfville, Nova Scotia, in 2000. She is currently in her third year at Carleton University, pursuing a combined honours degree in Human Rights and Political Science with a concentration in International Relations.

Jonathan was born and raised in Burlington, Ontario. Currently, he is completing an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences degree with Specialization in Political Science (French Immersion) and a Minor in Spanish at the University of Ottawa. A tenor soloist, Jonathan has performed several times in the Senate.
Hélène is Acadian and hails from Bathurst, New Brunswick. She is currently in her first year of a bidisciplinary Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in History and Political Science at the University of Ottawa.
Peter is from St. Catharines, Ontario. He is in his second year at the University of Ottawa in Honours International Studies and Modern Languages in French Immersion, taking Arabic as his third language and hoping to complete a minor in Economics.
Laura was born in Bedford, Nova Scotia, and still considers it home. She is in her third year of Political Science and Human Rights at Carleton University.
Maria Habanikova was born and raised in Zilina, Slovakia. She came to Canada in June 2004. She is now studying in her third year at the University of Ottawa in the French Immersion stream, in International Studies and Modern Languages (Spanish, Russian).
Marie-Michelle is from Kingston, Ontario, and is currently in her second year of studies in the field of International Economics and Development at the University of Ottawa. She is also an active member and the Youth Ambassador for Buy-a-Net Malaria Prevention Group.
Betsy was born in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec. She grew up in Saint-Janvier, Ottawa, Gatineau and Nagoya, Japan. Betsy is in her third year studying International Studies and Modern Languages at the University of Ottawa.
Michael Molzan was born in Fort McMurray, Alberta, and later moved to Edmonton. He is currently in his second year of studies, working towards an Honours Political Science degree at the University of Ottawa.
Yumi Nishad Rahman was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. She is currently in her third year at Carleton University, studying Religion and Political Science.
A native of the nation's capital, Andrew is currently pursuing undergraduate studies at Carleton University's Arthur Kroeger College of Public Affairs.
Amanda grew up in the small francophone community of Embrun, Ontario. She is currently studying Political Science and Law at the University of Ottawa and hopes to one day practice constitutional law.
Artour Sogomonian lived in St. Catharines, Ontario, for seven years, but now calls Victoria, British Columbia, home. He is currently in his first year of studies at the University of Ottawa, studying towards a degree in Political Science in the French Immersion stream.
Sadaf Tataei was born in Tehran, Iran, and immigrated to Ottawa, when she was three years old. She is currently in her second year of studies at the University of Ottawa, and is pursuing a four-year honours program in International Studies and Modern Languages.
Originally from Quebec City, Philippe Teisceira-Lessard has been at the University of Ottawa for a year, where he is completing his licence in Civil Law and a degree in International Development.
