Senate Committee Reports on Bill C-26
 

Ottawa (June 7, 2012) - The Standing Senate Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs presented its report today on Bill C-26, an Act to amend the Criminal Code (citizen’s arrest and the defences of property and persons).

Bill C-26 was referred to the committee by the Senate on May 15, 2012, for further consideration. The committee completed its study of the bill, and has reported it back to the Senate without amendment.
