We recommend that you familiarize yourself with Canada’s parliamentary system by reviewing Guide to the Canadian House of Commons. This document offers a concise and easy-to-read description of the House, including a working day in the Commons, the making of Canada’s laws, and the role of a Member of Parliament.
A Frequently Asked Questions booklet, designed for elementary students can be ordered from Information Service of the Library of Parliament.
A House of Commons wall poster is also available for purchase from the Teacher's Corner at the Parliament Hill Boutique.
